July 1:  Oviedo   

Today is another day of exploration around a beautiful old city.  Some shopping is needed to replenish some worn out pieces of clothing, but generally the day is being devoted to just enjoying the sights.  Lunch of a traditional Spanish meal of shellfish and rice topped with a dessert of flan make the afternoon seem long, lazy and wonderful.

Tomorrow it is back on the road with a route that takes up back to the north and the sea.  It is scheduled to be long, so it is early to bed, early to rise, so to beat the heat of the day.
