Safari in the Masai Mara of Kenya and the Serengeti of Tanzania

February 1 - 19, 2013

Under the direction and guidance of Overseas Adventure Travel (OATS), this trip takes me to the untamed land of everchanging wild beauty. The Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya is Africa's most untamed with an abundance of floria and fauna unique to the continent. The Serengeti of Tanzania has one of the densest concentations of wildlife on Earth resulting in a continuous display of the predators and prey dance. "Approximately 70 larger mammal and some 500 avifauna species are found there. This high diversity in terms of species is a function of diverse habitats ranging from riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. Blue wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region." -- Wikipedia

Each day will be an adventure. Each day will be unpredictable. The animals and terrain will dictate the regions explored and the experiences lived. Come and join me as I venture out onto my seventh and last continent -- Africa in its natural state!
