Bike and Boat

Situated to the east of Italy , Croatia encompasses the largest area of eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. While at one time part of the country of Yugoslavia, it is now its own independent sovereign state with over 4, 300,000 inhabitants. Rich in beauty with its over 1000 islands and mountain ranges, the country today attracts people from all over the world to vacation and relax. This trip will first encompass the islands off the coast by Split. A group of 16 women from all over the world under the guidance of Woman Tours, will pedal the islands during the day and relax aboard the ship by night as they investigate the culture, customs and cuisine. Following the pedaling portion this writer will venture off to the city of Dubrovnik and the neighboring country of Montenegro. To follow along, merely click on the links below.
