June 16: Kelso to St. Boswell

Following the River Tweed west the group pedals by the Jedburgh Abbey founded in 1138. Also nearby is the home of Mary Queen of Scots with its 16th century tower, where she suffered such a tragic life and death. Far off in the distance one can see the statue of Waterloo Monument for many miles. Then it is again along the river to the sleepy little town of St. Boswell and home for the next two nights!

Of Course There are Occasional Flats!
